Seasons Health Therapies provides post-trauma Counselling services for all ages, helping you take back your life after a big change. Whatever your experience: new diagnosis of Autism for your child, recovery from a motor vehicle or work place accident, or changes in life related to aging; whatever your diagnosis: brain injury, orthopaedic or soft tissue injuries, chronic pain conditions, PTSD or other psychiatric conditions, including addictions, we can help you address the grief and loss issues related to your situation. We believe in your resilience, your strengths, and your gifts. We understand our role to be one of working 'with you', not 'on you'. Our goal: helping you redefine your life.

We are different from other counsellors: we track your progress by conducting both baseline and post-treatment testing and we share these results with you. We pick from a range of therapy approaches to make sure your treatment is right for you. We help you learn new skills to take away when you leave us so that you are independent in ensuring your emotional well-being.

Experiencing emotional, psychological, and interpersonal distress causes many people to feel isolated and alone. People need to feel connected, and known to heal and to grow. We are designed to seek belonging and acceptance from our community and when we experience adversity, trauma, or abuse we are robbed of that sense of connection and belonging. Our nervous system senses threat all around us, leading to further isolation and lonliness. The wisdom for healing lies within each person, sometimes we all need a little help to recognize it.

Leanne is a person-centered therapist who specializes in interpersonal connection, and working with trauma. Leanne’s approach is to help clients understand why some of their struggles might be happening through education and a trauma informed lens, then to work with the client’s nervous system to improve symptoms, and process trauma.

Leanne considers it a priviledge and honour to walk alongside hurting individuals so that they can build a life that is more connected to self and more accurately reflects their hopes and dreams.

Please reach out to Leanne if you feel like she might be of help to you on your journey of resilience and healing.
